This coming Sunday is the Tobacco Road Marathon. I have been very fortunate to participate multiple time in past years. But last year, I missed running the event and I am kicking my butt for it, since race conditions for last year were super optimal for a race event. For now there is still some time to join the event, since last time I checked there were only few slots open to sign up for the half marathon.
During my last long runs in preparation for the event I came across with a friend, Brian Eller from the RTR Club, at the American Tobacco Trail over the weekend. Brian is a veteran runner with over 45 race events under his belt, including multiple Ultra-Marathons. He also prepared a great Tobacco Road Marathon video discussing the course, pre-race tips, race strategies and many more helpful advice that is worth taking the time to view and share with others. Especially if you are planning to run this event this weekend or in the future. Thank you Brian for preparing a very well made video with very useful information and sharing it with the running community.
