Running Shorts: RunningPoet Podcast

Last week I had the privilege to be a guest at the PoetRunner radio podcast. It was a fantastic and unique experience for me. I have to say, that I do not envy all the people that do live radio/podcasts. One thing is just talking with others about running, or during a group run, but having it broadcast live and recorded and then posted for posterity is a different story.

The PoetRunner podcast combines guests from two specific areas, Poetry and Running. Normally hosting one of each per episode and sometimes able to find a poet that runs. Very interesting conversations and definitely provides multiple opportunities to learn something new and different. During the episode I was a guest, first was Marc Olmstead, an author, and poet. Who is the author of five collections of poetry, including; What Use Am I a Hungry Ghost?

Rafael, the host, did a fantastic job getting the initial questions going and quickly making it more like a good conversation. Although not all my answers were as crisp as I want them to be I truly hope listeners are able to gain at least one golden nugget.
